My original plan was to spend yesterday doing spring cleaning. I mulled over doing the Azalea Festival 5K, and then was going to do cleaning. I did the 5K alright (click on the link for details), but the cleaning? Nah. It didn't happen.
But today, I at least have to start organizing some things again. And once again, I can see the Goodwill bag getting full. Maybe not as much as last time, but there will be some things for certain! So in about 5 minutes, I'm going to start on Sunday lunch (baking a meatloaf), read the morning paper (which I didn't get to do since I cantored the 8:00 service), and then after lunch, start cleaning / organizing.
Organizing: one of the many skills that I just don't take the time to do as I should. But that's another story.
Miscellaneous brain-ramblings, my take on current events, and a host of general stream-of-consciousness thoughts. You know: your basic BS.

I desperately want to get the house put back together from our time away--there is stuff EVERYWHERE. But another part of me wants to crawl into bed with a book and Leah and stay there. :-) I wonder which side will win today?
I vote for crawling in bed with Leah... :-)
I've been somewhat working on getting the house in order. I just hate the thought of someone possibly stopping by (not that anyone ever does, but you never know....) and seeing the state that the house is in! What if a friend or family member calls up and says, "What are you doing this weekend? We are thinking of coming to Savannah!" and me having to go into a panic cleaning mode which usually means throwing stuff in a box and throwing it in the garage. That's why the garage is in the state it's in NOW!
Plans are in place for a garage sale the first(?) weekend in May. Pretty much going to put signs up and drag stuff out of the garage, separating and organizing as I go!
