This was cool -- copied from my friends Kate/Susan, and The Glecks (on each of their blogs). I figured, why not? Pretty cool idea!
1) As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn’t matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2) Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It’s actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I’ll assume you’re playing the game and I’ll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don’t want to play on your blog, or if you don’t have a blog, I’ll leave my memory of you in my comments.
Have at it!

I wanted to share with you a thing of true beauty I saw today at church. Let me preface it by saying while I am no fan of Clemson Universi...

Twenty years ago or so, I was listening to the song "My Hometown" and thinking, "Oh how sad ... my town is a little like this...

On Friday, September 22, my baby brother departed this life. It was sudden and very unexpected, and I find myself at loose ends, not knowing...

My favorite memory is of the first time that we all met in person down in Myrtle Beach. You came down to visit with us while we were there and we all went to Applebee's. We just thought you were the greatest thing since sliced bread and we had so much fun getting to meet you and know you. When you left, Michael was so sad that our visit had been so brief, but we still have the picture of that day somewhere on the computer as a happy reminder of cementing our on-line friendship real time...

Holy crap, CHili's! You're Right!!!! I thought it was Applebee's. I must have it on the brain tonight. :-)
10 years. Where does one start? Maybe Chattanooga. My son was so worried about you as we were leaving Rock City (he asked several times "How's Miz Nettie?")
[Hey, we love you so much we take the 'sudden roadside stops' with a grain of salt. How can we not?]
Then of course the infamous passing-of-the-Tiger-baton when you got to see for yourself just what kind of lifeform used to be my mother-in-law. And none of us will ever look at an ice machine with a straight face again.
Meeting at the Varsity - when we all met in the flesh - yes, that was a wonderful time. I don't usually warm up that quickly with folks I've just met, but with you we were all at ease.
And that's just the first ten years. Maaaaan.
To say you're an awesome friend is not to do it anywhere near justice.
As wiith Tal this is hard, I don't actually know you in person! That's not to say I don't have memories of you!
I think my favorite was when we both realized that we Alpha Phi Omega when we were in college! :)
You are the only person outside of my own chapter that I know who was in APO!!! :)
There are just too many memories to put one or two down. However, I remember all the Nettie stories and enjoy them still. Also, I remember the Goldfish that didnt make it to Greenville from Charleston.
I think you should change your profile and remove the "Big Girl" from it. It doesnt fit anymore. Congratulations.
