Frickin' Christmas music 24-7. I knew it would start, but good gravy, does it have to start in 4 weeks before Thanksgiving? And of all songs, WHYYYYYYYYYYY did they have to play that ghastly "I Want A Hippopotamus for Christmas"???? I've already heard the bad news that (dare I say it?) "Christmas Shoes" has been playing???

Down here in Savannah, two stations started the all-Christmas crap the day after Halloween.

I am setting up our Christmas promo section at my Kroger store. I will be bringing the portable stereo, & I will have some CDs with me. I will be bringing the Bob Rivers Christmas mix, with some beautiful Christmas songs such as "Jingle Hells Bells", "I Am Santa Claus", "A Visit from St. Nicholson" (Jack, that is), "Chipmunks Roasting On an Open Fire", & many more. But what would Christmas be without the ultimate Christmas song: Spinal Tap's "Christmas with the Devil"? I have that in the mix too. And I will be cranking this to 11. It would definitely shake up all of these uptight people in Hot Springs.
The only thing I want for Christmas? A friggin' finalized divorce. Is that so much to ask for?
